The next meeting for the North East & Cumbria branch of the NADJ takes place on Tuesday 8th March 2011 at our usual venue: The QuakerHouse Pub 2-4 Mechanics Yard Darlington Start: 7pm
Agenda - OOVJ and Pulse speakers (and a few other things depending on purchases) – Demonstration provided by Dave Jackson.
- MyDMX Demo (postponed from previous meeting due to the man-flu) - Demonstration provided by Ben Turnbull.
- Feedback from Wedding DJ Seminar – Not to give away all the secrets, but to hear views of those that attended.
- Telephone Call Role Play – Role plays to generate discussions on how we deal with telephone enquiries. We will have some pre-scripted role plays but would invite audience participation to hopefully help us all gain some useful advice. There is no right or wrong answers as we all have different business models but hopefully everyone will benefit.
- Bring & Buy Table – This looked very healthy at our last meeting and several hundred pounds worth of goods changed hands. If you can inform one of the Branch Committee members if you intend to bring something for the Bring & Buy table - simply to ensure we allow enough the space in the room.
We will also have information (hopefully!) about improving communication via Facebook, twitter, e-mail and our own website. All work in progress at the moment, so watch this space.

It may be a good idea to see if DJs want to meet up before the event to go for a bite to eat or to have an informal chat with Paul before the meeting begins. If this appeals to you, pop a message in the comments box or speak to any of the four branch Committee members (Chris, Andy, Andy or Paul).
