The NADJ South Central team have compiled an update from the gatherings, meetings and other events over past few months:

Tuesday 3rd January 2012  

• January NADJ South Central Meeting
• Hosted by Alan Marshall
• Warbook House and Grange, Eversley 

This was a chance to network, and reflect on what we had all achieved as DJs during 2011, and to find out what areas we were looking to improvement during 2012.

  It was a great meeting, and i know lots of positive ideas was shared, and lots of inspiration was taken.

  These meetings give us DJs a chance to really gain valuable knowledge, from associating with other like minded DJs.

Monday 2nd January & Tuesday 3rd January 2012 

Many of the NADJ South Central branch members attended 2 separate workshops hosted by Derek Pengelly. One was Wedding Marketing for DJs. The other was the Unlock the Cash Seminar.

  I know from talking to many of the people after the events, a lot of great ideas, and inspiration was gained, and i am certain lots of businesses will be moved forward from the knowledges shared.

Monday 14th November 11

• RSD Music - Church Farm Business Centre, Eversley, Hampshire RG27 0PX

This was a open evening and a social gathering with the chance to interact and get our hands on some of the latest sound and lighting gear in the RSD Showroom.

  Food and Drink was kindly provided for everyone. A great atmosphere on the night lead to a positive, constructive and fun evening for all.

  Also on the night Gary from Denon was in attendance to show and demo some of the latest Denon products. Also, Tom Chennells from RSD and Yes Events, hosted a mini seminar on how to correctly set up sound levels.  Having just returned from a few days in the RCF factory learning all about the RCF touring range, Tom had a lot of useful information to share.

  We would like to thank David, Tom, Claire and all the team at RSD Music for the warm welcome.
