NADJ South Wales Branch Meeting- Tuesday 11th October 2011 @ University Of Wales Newport, Caerleon, NP18 3QT (7.30pm for 8.00pm prompt start)
The NADJ Wales October meeting is going to be crammed with beneficial content. The action packed meeting is this coming Tuesday (11th October 2011) at our regular meeting place at the Uni. It's a supper meeting again so don't bother with a roadside snack on route! This month’s meeting includes: Educational Presentation - We are most fortunate to have a motivational guest speaker in the larger than life shape of Dave Reed from RSD Music. Some would say he's controversial, but he's certainly in demand after his "who wants to be a millionaire" seminars at BPM. Dave 'Millionaire DJ' Reed is now famed across our industry for these entertaining seminars and for his Pro Mobile articles aimed at raising the bar for professional DJs by encouraging them to increasing their fees and consequential earnings. His passion and enthusiasm for this aim has taken him on a UK wide tour of DJ events and NADJ branches. However, in Wales, he is sure to be at home, as he's back in his homeland from his exile in the Thames Valley. Dave's presentation is sure to be enlightening and thought provoking.
New Equipment Presentations - The latest equipment from American DJ, introduced and demonstrated by American DJ Sales Manager Curtis Lewis (in association with Alan from Zelma Sound & Lighting) and fresh from the BPM Show he will be showing us some of the new sound and lighting products now available.
- Matthew Button from Welsh pro-audio manufacturer Matrix Amplification will be in attendance to extol the virtues of their latest range of two and four channel power amplifiers which are finding favour with many DJs, sound rental companies and professional users.
Hot Supper An authentic Jamaican Curry and Rice (£5.00 per person) will be prepared and served by Paula Burns of PAB Events. We are led to understand that we must not be put off by Paula's surname of 'Burns'- mild and fruity is a better description! Fun Bingo Rock N Roll Bingo will be back again by popular demand to round off the night - it's you chance to win a Mastermix Goodie Bag or a Wharfdale microphone as first prize!
